Our Services

Persistent Pain Management

This treatment tends not to be offered by general physiotherapy practices. It is a highly skilled and specific service assisting the patient to come to terms with and learn how to manage complex pain presentations and altered lifestyle.

What will your appointments involve?

This is a different approach than a conventional physiotherapy appointment. All appointments will last approximately one hour and on average you will need 3-4 appointments.
Often, after these appointments, you will be supported via telephone with the aim to aid self-management and improve daily function to allow you to gain control of your life again.

Who is your therapist?

Sarah Peat is a highly qualified and enthusiastic physiotherapist. She has worked in the specialist field of pain management for over 15 years and has built up a wealth of skills and techniques. Sarah was head of the Physiotherapy Pain Management Service in the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, and has worked in the private sector. She has recently moved to Devon and we are delighted to offer her skills.
